Monster #272 — Craftland: The relatively calm planning stage

craftland 2009

I turned in my Craftland 2009 inventory list last night. I’m not obligated to actually deliver all the stuff I list, but these are my goals. I’m feeling a little panicky, but I know I’ll be feeling a lot more panicky later, so I’m just going to try to enjoy this level of panic and call it invigorating.

Now to take the curlers out of my hair…

I think we all need to just step back, take a deep breath, and THEN panic.

  2. Voz says:

How far back? Like South America?

  3. gwen says:

WOW. That is a lot of stuff!

I am selling stuff for the first time at my favorite cafe as part of a bunch-of-folks’ craft stuff that will sit there for a month hopefully being snapped up by unsuspecting locals. This post is kind of making me think I should put together some kind of plan besides just continuing to make stuff until the deadline. have you always done this? how accurate are you usually? is it totally trial and error as far as estimations being anywhere close to what you need?

I’m hoping back to the nearest Dunkin’ Donuts will do. (I don’t think they require any inoculations yet. )

  5. Voz says:

But do they have capybara? I have my priorities, you know.

  6. DJ says:

Alas, I don’t think they do. BUT… we can stop by the rental agency and get one on the way. :-)

  7. Voz says:

Alrighty then. So, we’ve got the doughnuts, the reservation at RENT-A-RODENT, and the meditative breathing…anything else before we freak out? You turned off the iron, right?

  8. DJ says:

Of course! I’ve found irons work best for me if I never turn them on in the first place.

Only one question remains: What fingernail polish goes best with panic?

  9. Voz says:

    *sigh*

That’s the eternal question, isn’t it?
